Our practice
Unfolded is a boutique studio, so you work directly with Camilla and a small team from the first conversation to the final styled room. We listen first, design with intention and take the time to get every detail right.

Our process
You stay part of every conversation with your builder, architect and suppliers. What changes is that everyone is coordinated and aligned in their approach to your home from day one, working from the same plan, so decisions are clear and nothing is left to chance.
A relaxed conversation about your goals, lifestyle, timeline and budget, with no commitment.
We meet to understand how you live, what you love and what matters most, then define the scope and a realistic budget together.
We measure and assess light, layout and flow, or review your architectural plans, then present mood boards and a palette for your feedback.
A detailed floor plan, developed with your architect or building designer so the interiors and the architecture work as one.
Materials, finishes, fittings and furnishings are selected and drawn in detail, with renders or walkthroughs where they help.
A finishes and furnishings schedule, budget and timeline for your approval, shared with your builder so everyone is working from the same document.
We place orders, coordinate suppliers and manage deliveries, keeping lead times in step with the build.
We oversee installation, add the final layers of art and decor, walk through the finished space with you and hand over care instructions, ready to move in.

Camilla founded Unfolded in 2019 after more than a decade in property styling, hospitality, residential and commercial interior design. She splits her time between Sydney and the Central Coast, and hosts Behind the Design, the podcast where she talks with the architects, builders and makers shaping Australian interiors.

Every home is different, and so is every project. If your question isn’t here, bring it to your complimentary consultation. That first conversation is exactly what it’s for: getting to know you, your home and how we can help.
It depends on the scope. A styling refresh is a very different investment to full interior design for a renovation. After your complimentary consultation we send a tailored proposal with a clear fee structure, so you know exactly what's included before anything begins.
As early as possible, ideally before plans are finalised or a builder is engaged. Bringing us in early means layouts, joinery, lighting and power positions are resolved upfront, which avoids costly changes once work starts.
Yes. Many Sydney homes come with tight footprints or period features to work around. We plan layouts, storage and joinery so every square metre works hard, while respecting the character of the home.
Yes. We work closely with your chosen builder, architect and trades, providing the drawings, finishes schedules and details they need. We don't manage construction directly, but we stay involved through the build to make sure the design is delivered as intended.
Yes. We select, order and track every piece, coordinate delivery and temporary storage, then install and style the space. It's one of the most valuable parts of the service, because you skip the months of searching, ordering and chasing.
Small to medium projects typically take 8 to 16 weeks from concept to final documentation. Furniture and finishes lead times can extend the overall timeline, so we plan orders early to keep your project on track.
No. We work across Sydney and the Central Coast, and offer remote design services via video meetings, with site visits arranged when needed.
