Hi, I’m Camilla – Interior designer, founder of Unfolded, and host of Behind the Design.

Six years into running my studio and two years into podcasting, I’ve learned that growth comes from trusting the process, owning your mistakes, and staying open to what’s next. Growing up on acreage in Lismore, I was always active and curious – spending my days riding horses, exploring the land, and designing entire worlds in The Sims when I probably should have been studying. That early obsession with creating spaces was the clear catalyst for pursuing a career in interior design.

At Unfolded, we design across residential, commercial, and hospitality, collaborating with builders, developers, and clients to bring their visions to life.

The journey has been about more than just design – it’s been about building confidence, learning from every experience, and embracing the lessons that never stop coming. One thing I know for sure? You can only achieve what you set your mind to. Surrounding yourself with the right team, backing yourself, and staying open-hearted is the key to growth – personally and professionally. The lessons never cease, and when you stay open, you’re always being guided toward something bigger and better that aligns with you.
